Cape May’s Beach Plum Farm Wins Back-to-Back Michelin Honors

Beach Plum Farm has earned its second consecutive One Key distinction from the Michelin Guide 2025, recognizing it as one of the most unique hospitality experiences in New Jersey. Nestled on 62 pastoral acres at 140 Stevens Street, Beach Plum Farm offers more than just scenic views and fresh produce—it blends rustic farm life with boutique luxury. The farm features six elegantly appointed cottages and barns, all equipped with full kitchens, fireplaces, laundry amenities, and cozy firepits. Some units sleep up to 12 guests, and the entire property can accommodate groups as large as 40. The One Key honor from Michelin signifies “a very special stay,” highlighting properties that offer standout service and charm beyond typical expectations. Beach Plum Farm is one of only three New Jersey destinations to receive this distinction in 2025. Beyond dining and lodging, Beach Plum Farm invites guests to fully immerse themselves in its agricultural rhythms, from gathering eggs at sunrise to birdwatching from the on-site lookout tower. With complimentary bikes, golf carts, and a swimming pool, the farm offers a tranquil escape with both charm and convenience.
Stone Harbor’s Springer’s Ice Cream Named One of America’s Best

Springer’s Homemade Ice Cream in Stone Harbor has landed in the Top 10 on a recent list compiled by Beli Eats, a food review platform that ranks eateries based on user ratings and feedback. The parlor, located at 9420 3rd Avenue, is a staple of the Cape May County shore town and has been serving scoops since the early 1900s. What sets Springer’s apart is its commitment to homemade quality and variety. The shop offers over 60 rotating flavors and has built a loyal customer base over generations of beachgoers and locals alike. The ranking highlights not only the shop's delicious offerings but also its enduring appeal and nostalgic charm. While South Jersey is home to many popular ice cream stops throughout Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean, and Cumberland counties, Springer’s stands out for its legacy and consistently high reviews.
Ocean City Business Leaders Push Council to Revisit Wonderland Redevelopment Vote

Ocean City business leaders and merchant groups are urging City Council to reconsider its August decision not to refer the Wonderland Pier property to the Planning Board. They argue that doing so is crucial for economic revitalization following the amusement park’s closure. While the hotel project proposed for the site remains controversial, many business owners support taking the procedural step to explore redevelopment options. Council did not take any action at the Oct. 9 meeting despite nearly two hours of public comment.
