Beacon Animal Rescue Receives Third Grant from PINTS 4 PETS at Oktoberfest Gala

Beacon Animal Rescue, a no-kill nonprofit dedicated to saving homeless cats and dogs in South Jersey, has once again been recognized by PINTS 4 PETS, receiving a generous donation during the charity’s 12th annual Oktoberfest event. Held at the Medford Village Country Club, the celebration brought together animal advocates, donors, and local leaders to honor 13 regional rescues, with Beacon among the recipients for the third time. Based in Ocean View, Beacon Animal Rescue has been operating since 2003 with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals that would otherwise face euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. The organization provides veterinary care, vaccines, spay/neuter services, and finds loving homes for every pet it takes in. As of 2021, Beacon also runs a low-cost veterinary clinic to help support both pet owners and its life-saving work. PINTS 4 PETS, founded by former Miss New Jersey Amy Osborn, began as a small event uniting beer enthusiasts and animal lovers to raise funds for local shelters. Now a thriving all-volunteer nonprofit based in Cherry Hill, the group has expanded its impact significantly. In 2025 alone, over $25,000 in donations were distributed to area rescues. All rescues selected for funding are personally vetted by Osborn, who currently serves as CEO of the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and Museum. Her team ensures each recipient meets high standards of care, transparency, and community service. PINTS 4 PETS continues to assist beyond its cash awards—covering vet bills for pet owners in need, purchasing food and supplies for shelters, and even funding feral cat housing initiatives throughout South Jersey.
Barefoot Country Music Fest 2026 Brings Star Power to Wildwood

Wildwood’s beachfront is gearing up for a massive musical takeover in 2026 as the Barefoot Country Music Fest (BCMF) returns from June 18 to 21—and this year’s headliners are pulling no punches. Leading the charge is country music powerhouse Kelsea Ballerini, joining previously announced headliners Post Malone and Eric Church for what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest festivals on the Jersey Shore.
Ballerini brings a decorated career to the Wildwood stage, boasting seven No. 1 singles, multiple platinum and gold albums, and a long list of accolades including GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM nominations. She’s fresh off the release of Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, a deeply personal EP that earned critical acclaim and yet another GRAMMY nod. Her upcoming album Patterns, featuring a duet with Noah Kahan, is set to drop October 25 and is already generating buzz.
Post Malone, now dipping deeper into country music, will also make his BCMF debut. Following the release of his country-leaning album F-1 Trillion, which topped the Billboard 200, he’s expected to blend his mega-hits with his latest genre experimentations in a set designed to electrify the beach crowd.
Country rock titan Eric Church rounds out the trio of headliners. Known for his gritty performances and a catalog packed with award-winning hits, Church adds a dose of country veteran credibility to the four-day event.
Tickets for BCMF 2026 are already available at bcmf.com, and fans can take advantage of a Black Friday deal starting November 10: reserve SVIP packages for $199 down with no further payment required until February.
