Jason Kelce Spices Things Up with Investment in Sea Isle's Hank’s Sauce

Super Bowl champion and current ESPN analyst, Jason Kelce has officially invested in Hank’s Sauce, a locally beloved brand based in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Hank’s Sauce is the brainchild of three college friends—Matt, Hank, and Josh—who started the business after creating their first signature sauce during their college years. Since then, the brand has grown into a regional favorite, known for its vibrant flavors and laid-back, beach-town energy. Kelce, a longtime admirer of both the products and the people behind the business, shared his enthusiasm about joining the team. Hank’s Sauce is best known for its "Core Four" sauces: the original Herb Infused, Cilanktro, Camouflage, and Hank’s Heat. These sauces are crafted to enhance dishes with balanced spice and flavor, rather than overpowering heat. The original Herb Infused sauce, developed back in the trio’s college days, remains a standout and fan favorite.
Iconic Exit Zero Restaurant in West Cape May Sold After Months-Long Auction

Exit Zero, the well-known restaurant located at 110 Sunset Blvd. in West Cape May, was sold on Dec. 18 following a competitive online auction that attracted interest from several buyers. The winning bidder was Florian Furxhiu, a familiar name in the South Jersey restaurant scene. The sale was handled by Tranzon, with auctioneer Bob Dann confirming Furxhiu as the successful buyer. While the final purchase price was not disclosed, the property had previously been listed earlier this year for $4.7 million before its owner opted to move forward with an auction instead of a traditional sale. Furxhiu already owns multiple restaurants in the area, including Venezia, La Cantina and Santorini’s in Wildwood, further expanding his footprint in the region’s dining landscape. Exit Zero has long been a prominent fixture in West Cape May, known for its distinctive atmosphere, artwork-lined dining spaces and prime location near Sunset Boulevard.
Longtime Cape Regional CEO Joanne Carrocino Leaves Leadership Role

Joanne Carrocino has stepped down as CEO of Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional, ending a leadership tenure that spanned two decades. Carrocino officially left the role on Nov. 7, according to a statement released Dec. 22 by a spokesperson for Cooper University Health Care, which is based in Cape May, New Jersey. Her departure came shortly after the one-year anniversary of Cooper’s acquisition of Cape Regional Health System. Carrocino played a central role in guiding the hospital through the transition following the acquisition, helping integrate Cape Regional into the broader Cooper health system while maintaining care for residents and visitors throughout Cape May County’s shore communities. She was first appointed CEO in February 2004 and spent nearly 21 years leading the organization. During that time, she oversaw significant growth and change in healthcare delivery in the region, culminating in the system’s merger with Cooper University Health Care. Health system officials credited Carrocino with a distinguished career focused on expanding access to advanced, high-quality medical care in southern New Jersey.
