This year’s expo will showcase a wide selection of boats for sale, including center consoles, cabin cruisers, pontoons, skiffs, and wave runners. Visitors can browse approximately 100 vendor booths featuring everything from fishing tackle and custom rods to marine apparel, accessories, and towing services. Beyond shopping, attendees can participate in free educational seminars scheduled throughout the weekend. Daily prize giveaways will add to the excitement, with a Yeti 65 Cooler up for grabs each day. Doors open Friday, January 9, at 1 p.m. and close at 7 p.m. The event continues on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and wraps up Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 13, and free for kids under 6. As an added incentive, those completing the 15 to 30-minute on-site interview will receive a Wawa gift card.

New Jersey’s No-Go List: What You’re Not Allowed to Bring Into the State

Did you know? Whether you're flying into Newark or simply driving over a bridge or highway into the Garden State, it’s important to know that not everything you can legally possess elsewhere is allowed in the state. New Jersey maintains stricter rules than many other states, particularly when it comes to health, safety, and environmental protection. Federal laws may allow the transportation of certain items across state lines, but once inside New Jersey, state regulations take precedence—and some things are strictly forbidden. 1. Raw Milk
New Jersey stands alone as the only U.S. state with a full ban on raw (unpasteurized) milk. No milk or milk products can be legally imported or sold unless pasteurized. 2. Endangered Animals
Strict wildlife protection laws make it illegal to bring most endangered species into New Jersey. This includes a range of mammals like bobcats, certain amphibians such as the Blue-spotted Salamander, and various birds, reptiles, and insects. 3. Diseased Vegetable Plants
To protect its agricultural sector, New Jersey bans the import of tomato and pepper plants that show signs of disease or insect infestation. 4. Molotov Cocktails & Armor-Piercing Bullets
Weapons laws in the state go beyond common restrictions. Homemade explosives like Molotov cocktails are illegal, as are armor-piercing bullets and a  wide category of other banned ammunition and accessories. 5. Obscene Materials
New Jersey enforces both state and federal obscenity laws that prohibit the importation, sale, or public display of material considered obscene.
