What investment is rudimentary for billionaires but ‘revolutionary’ for 70,571+ investors entering 2026?
Imagine this. You open your phone to an alert. It says, “you spent $236,000,000 more this month than you did last month.”
If you were the top bidder at Sotheby’s fall auctions, it could be reality.
Sounds crazy, right? But when the ultra-wealthy spend staggering amounts on blue-chip art, it’s not just for decoration.
The scarcity of these treasured artworks has helped drive their prices, in exceptional cases, to thin-air heights, without moving in lockstep with other asset classes.
The contemporary and post war segments have even outpaced the S&P 500 overall since 1995.*
Now, over 70,000 people have invested $1.2 billion+ across 500 iconic artworks featuring Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more.
How? You don’t need Medici money to invest in multimillion dollar artworks with Masterworks.
Thousands of members have gotten annualized net returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8% from 26 sales to date.

America’s Oldest Seaside Resort Wins Another Hospitality Award

Who’s surprised? Cape May has once again been recognized as one of the most welcoming cities in the United States, earning the distinction for the second consecutive year from Booking.com’s 14th annual Traveler Review Awards. The awards highlight destinations that consistently deliver exceptional hospitality, based on traveler feedback and reviews. Cape May was one of only eight cities nationwide to receive the honor, placing it among a select group of communities praised for outstanding visitor experiences. Known as America’s oldest seaside resort, Cape May is celebrated for its Victorian architecture, coastal charm and vibrant tourism industry. The repeat recognition reinforces the city’s reputation as a top-tier beach destination where hotels, inns and local businesses prioritize guest satisfaction. The accolade adds to Cape May’s growing list of honors and further solidifies its status as one of New Jersey’s most beloved travel spots.
From Cape May to Brigantine, 2026 Shore Houses Are Snapped Up Early

Jersey Shore summer rentals for 2026 are already experiencing a noticeable early booking surge, months before the traditional rush toward Memorial Day Weekend. Property owners in popular beach towns such as Brigantine, Wildwood Crest, and Cape May have begun advertising summer availability well before winter has ended, reflecting strong expectations for demand. Travel trends show that the Shore continues to attract not only longtime New Jersey visitors but also vacationers from nearby metropolitan areas like New York City who are planning trips far in advance. Several factors are contributing to the accelerated pace. Inventory remains limited in highly sought-after towns, particularly for families who need specific peak-season weeks, pet-friendly accommodations, or homes within walking distance of the beach and local attractions. As a result, renters are securing properties earlier to avoid having to compromise on location or amenities. Additionally, heightened awareness of rental scams in competitive markets has encouraged travelers to book sooner through reputable platforms or directly with established property owners, allowing more time to verify contracts and ownership details before submitting deposits. With spring approaching quickly, prospective vacationers are being urged to start researching and reserving their preferred Shore getaway now to ensure they secure the ideal spot for Summer 2026.
Historic Woolworth Building and ‘Randyland’ in Wildwood Listed for $8 Million

Wildwood’s historic former F.W. Woolworth building at 3210 Pacific Avenue, known as the home of “Randyland,” has been listed for $7.999 million. The 20,000-square-foot property, built in 1930 and located two blocks from the beach, was purchased in 1999 by collector Randy Senna, who filled it with thousands of vintage arcade games and boardwalk memorabilia. Although plans to open it as a public museum never fully materialized, the building became an unofficial local landmark and gained national attention in 2011. Now situated within the Pacific Avenue Redevelopment Zone and an Opportunity Zone, the site is being marketed as a prime redevelopment opportunity with both historic character and investment potential. Authorities note that older adults are frequently targeted, making awareness and family conversations about scam tactics especially important. The overarching advice remains consistent: if a message seems urgent, unexpected or too good to be true, pause before taking action and verify the source to avoid becoming a victim.
