Cape May has unveiled a diverse and high-profile lineup of seven major concerts set for summer 2026 at Cape May Convention Hall on Beach Avenue. The series highlights a wide range of musical genres, including country, pop, classic soul, R&B, reggae, and rock, reinforcing the shore town’s growing reputation as a premier live entertainment destination in South Jersey. The season begins June 28 with celebrated songwriter and performer Mac McAnally, a 10-time CMA Musician of the Year whose career includes writing and producing hits for some of country music’s biggest names. July features two standout performances: The Stylistics will bring their smooth Philadelphia soul sound to the stage on July 12, followed by Joan Osborne on July 26, performing music from her breakthrough album Relish. August is packed with legendary acts. The Spinners will perform on August 2, showcasing decades of R&B classics. On August 7, A.J. Croce will present a special tribute concert honoring his father, Jim Croce, blending family favorites with his own original music. Reggae fans can catch The Legendary Wailers on August 9, delivering the signature sound associated with Bob Marley’s era. The series concludes August 23 with rock icons Blue Öyster Cult, known for their long-standing influence and catalog of enduring hits. Tickets for all performances are currently available, and organizers note that additional shows may be announced as Cape May continues to expand its 2026 entertainment offerings.
Cape May Police Launch “No-Shave November: March Edition” to Support Officer’s Family in Cancer Fight

The Cape May Police Department is organizing a month-long fundraiser called “No-Shave November: March Edition 2026” to support Patrolman Stephen Scheer and his family during a difficult medical battle. The initiative will run from March 1 through March 31, 2026, with officers participating by growing out their facial hair and redirecting money normally spent on shaving and grooming toward donations. The fundraiser is dedicated to helping Stephen Scheer’s father, who is currently fighting squamous cell carcinoma. Organizers hope the effort will help relieve some of the financial strain associated with cancer treatment while also showing the family that they have the support of both the department and the community. Participants are encouraged to contribute a minimum donation of $50, although larger donations are welcomed. Community members who wish to help can also donate throughout the month. All collected funds will go directly to the Scheer family. Donations can be made by check to the Cape May Police Department Welfare Fund, with “No-Shave November/March” written in the memo line. Contributions may be mailed or delivered to the Cape May Police Department at 643 Washington Street in Cape May. The department plans to present the funds to the Scheer family by April 1, 2026, following the conclusion of the fundraiser.
