A New Kind of ‘Growth’ Stock

In the world of high-growth retail, there are moments that signal a shift from "digital disruptor" to "national powerhouse."

As the world’s leading floral subscription service, they’re now unlocking access to the $18 billion U.S. retail market. How? Launching 70+ new brick-and-mortar studios to dominate same-day delivery and high-margin local events (weddings, graduations, etc.).

They’ve already become a Shark Tank legend by doing what other legacy giants haven't: owning the entire "farm-to-table" supply chain. They aren't just an "order gatherer,” they’re vertically integrating the world’s most fragmented gift commodity. This "farm-to-vase" control enables a 3x more efficient supply chain, slashing waste from 50% to less than 2%.

The Bouqs Co. has already seen up to $1.2 million in annual revenue per store, with over 270 million stems sold to date. Become a shareholder in The Bouqs now.

New Era Begins as Sea Isle Opens State-of-the-Art Community Hub

Sea Isle City has officially opened its long-awaited Community Center, bringing an end to years of planning, debate, and construction delays. The $21 million project, unveiled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 28, delivers a 44,000-square-foot facility designed to serve as a central hub for recreation, events, and community life. Inside, the center features a wide range of amenities aimed at residents of all ages. These include a full-size gymnasium with courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, an elevated indoor walking and running track, and a fitness room for exercise programs. The facility also provides flexible community spaces such as a large meeting room with a stage and kitchen, as well as rooms dedicated to arts and crafts, conferences, and quiet activities. The project faced multiple delays and required patience from nearby residents, who dealt with construction-related disruptions. Plans were also shaped by public input, including a decision to exclude an indoor pool due to cost concerns. Despite these challenges, local officials and community members view the completed center as a significant achievement and a long-term investment in the city’s future. Hundreds of residents attended the grand opening to tour the building and celebrate its completion. The Community Center is expected to host a wide variety of programs, events, and activities, solidifying its role as a key gathering place and enhancing quality of life in Sea Isle City for years to come.

MudHen’s HenStock Brings Music, Beer, and Family Fun to Wildwood

MudHen Brewing Company in Wildwood is celebrating eight years of business with the return of its annual HenStock festival, a full-day event centered on craft beer, live entertainment, and community connection. What began as a simple idea about bringing people together over food and beer has grown into a gathering place where locals and visitors alike come to celebrate milestones, unwind, and build lasting relationships. Over the years, the brewery has established itself as more than just a place to grab a drink, becoming a hub for shared experiences and traditions. This year’s HenStock event will take place on Sunday, April 12, at the brewery’s West Rio Grande Avenue location. The celebration is free to attend and features a packed schedule of entertainment and activities designed for all ages. Live music will run throughout the day, starting with a dueling piano performance in the morning and followed by an afternoon set from South Jersey band Fat Mezz. Family-friendly offerings include face painting, caricature artists, and games, while local vendors such as a gourmet popcorn stand will be on site. HenStock not only marks another year in business but highlights the role MudHen Brewing Company has played in fostering a sense of community. The brewery’s name itself reflects local history, inspired by the nickname of a historic train that once traveled through the area’s marshlands.

Gateway Playhouse Brings Rock Opera Classic Back to Life This April

The Easter Season is upon us and the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point will host a production of Jesus Christ Superstar from April 9 through April 19. This production is offering audiences a fresh take on the iconic rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Directed by Chip Garrison, the show revisits the final days of Jesus Christ through a high-energy blend of rock music and emotional storytelling, featuring well-known songs from the original score. This staging introduces a notable creative change by casting Judas as a woman, adding new emotional depth and reshaping the relationships at the center of the story, particularly between Jesus, Judas, and Mary Magdalene. The production features a mix of returning performers and newcomers, with dual casting for several principal roles. Performances include both evening and matinee shows, and the production is recommended for teen audiences and older. Tickets are available for $25 through the theater’s website or box office.
