Spot & Tango's UnKibble is the only human-grade dog food that delivers all the benefits of fresh food without taking up fridge space. Made with USDA-grade meats, plus fresh fruits and vegetables, then gently dried at low temps to lock in up to 99% of nutrients. As vets say: "This is the food dogs were born to eat."
It's pantry-friendly, delivered to your door, and comes with a personalized scoop sized to your dog's exact needs. No guesswork, no prep, no refrigeration.
350,000+ dog parents have already made the switch — and 87% saw health improvements in their pup after switching.

Cape May Kicks Off Earth Day with Community Beach Cleanup at Poverty Beach

Cape May is launching its seasonal shoreline cleanup efforts with an Earth Day event at Poverty Beach on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The initiative is a collaboration between the City of Cape May and the Boarding House, marking the first in a series of monthly cleanups aimed at maintaining the area’s coastal beauty. Participants will gather at the beach entrance, where all necessary cleanup supplies will be provided. The event is designed to be accessible and flexible, allowing volunteers to arrive at any time during the scheduled window without prior registration. The Earth Day cleanup highlights the community’s ongoing commitment to protecting Cape May’s shoreline and marine environment. Organizers encourage residents and visitors of all ages to take part in the effort, helping to preserve the local ecosystem while supporting a cleaner, healthier coastline. Additional details about future cleanup dates and related events can be found through the and the Boarding House’s social media channels.
NAS Wildwood Museum Hosts Talk on ‘Dogs for Defense’ Heroes

A compelling look at an often-overlooked chapter of World War II history will be presented later this month in Cape May County. The Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum in Rio Grande will host a free lecture on April 30 at 3 p.m., focusing on the remarkable contributions of military working dogs during the war. Titled “Fur and Fury: War Dogs in the Fight for Freedom,” the program will be led by historian Ben Ridings, curator for Cape May MAC. The presentation will explore the origins and impact of the “Dogs for Defense” program, which mobilized nearly 20,000 American dogs for military service following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Initially launched as a civilian effort, the program recruited family pets and trained them for critical wartime roles. These dogs went on to serve in the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, performing duties such as sentry patrol, scouting, message delivery, and mine detection. Their work proved essential in both combat zones and on the home front, where they guarded key installations. Beyond the battlefield, the program will reflect on the sacrifices made by families who volunteered their pets for service and the enduring legacy these dogs left behind. Their success helped shape modern military and law enforcement K-9 programs still in use today. Held at the NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum, the event is open to the public and is designed to appeal to history enthusiasts, animal lovers, and families interested in learning more about this unique aspect of wartime service.
Cape May Beach Patrol Teams Up with Brewery for Local Fundraiser

A community fundraiser aimed at supporting local ocean safety efforts is set to take place this week in Cape May. The Cape May Beach Patrol will host a Pint Night event at Cape May Brewing Co. on Friday, April 24, offering residents and visitors a chance to give back while enjoying an evening out. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free to attend, with guests purchasing their own drinks and food. A portion of proceeds from each pint or flight sold in the tasting room will go directly toward supporting the Beach Patrol and its operations. The Cape May Beach Patrol plays a critical role during the busy summer season, staffing dozens of lifeguards across multiple beach stands along the city’s coastline. Funds raised through events like Pint Night help support equipment, training, and other resources needed to maintain safety along the shore. Beyond fundraising, the event also provides an opportunity for the public to connect with local lifeguards and learn more about beach safety ahead of the summer season. It reflects a broader effort seen across shore communities, where beach patrols often host events and programs to engage the public and promote water safety awareness.
