Cape May MAC Brings Back ‘Bach’s Lunches’ At Historic Inn

Classical music and seaside dining will come together this June as Cape May MAC presents the return of “Bach’s Lunches” at the historic Inn of Cape May. Part of the annual Cape May Music Festival, the lunchtime concert series offers guests an afternoon of live chamber music performed by members of the Bay Atlantic Symphony while enjoying a midday meal inside one of the city’s landmark Victorian hotels. The intimate performances are scheduled for Wednesdays — June 3, June 10, and June 17 — beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Inn of Cape May. Organizers describe the experience as a relaxed blend of fine dining and classical music in a coastal setting. The concerts are presented by Cape May MAC (Museums+Arts+Culture), the nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Cape May’s historic and cultural heritage. The organization’s annual Cape May Music Festival has become one of South Jersey’s premier classical music events, drawing audiences from throughout the region.
Cape May’s Emlen Physick Estate Hosts Annual Summer Craft Market

The grounds of Cape May’s historic Emlen Physick Estate will transform into an outdoor marketplace during the annual Summer Crafts & Collectibles Show on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Hosted by Cape May MAC (Museums+Arts+Culture), the event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and features artisans, crafters, and specialty vendors from across the Northeast showcasing handmade goods, vintage items, artwork, collectibles, and unique gifts. Visitors can stroll through the estate’s scenic grounds while exploring a wide variety of locally crafted products and one-of-a-kind finds. The event has become a seasonal tradition in Cape May, attracting shoppers looking for coastal-inspired art, handcrafted décor, jewelry, antiques, and specialty merchandise. The show takes place at the Emlen Physick Estate, located at 1048 Washington Street. The historic Victorian property serves as one of Cape May’s most recognizable landmarks and frequently hosts seasonal festivals, tours, and cultural events throughout the year. Organizers say the event offers an opportunity to support independent artists and small businesses while enjoying a relaxed summer atmosphere in one of the region’s most historic settings.
Cape May Native Sincere Rhea Joins ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8

A South Jersey native with an impressive athletic résumé is stepping into the spotlight on national reality television this summer. Sincere Rhea, a 25-year-old Cape May native and former Division I track athlete, has officially joined the cast of Love Island USA Season 8, which premieres June 2 on Peacock. The announcement has generated significant attention across New Jersey, particularly in South Jersey communities eager to see a local competitor enter the villa. Rhea arrives on the hit dating series with a standout background in collegiate athletics. A graduate of St. Augustine Prep in Atlantic County, he excelled in both football and track during high school before building a successful NCAA career in hurdles. After competing at Penn State from 2020 to 2021, Rhea transferred to the University of Miami, where he continued to establish himself as one of the top hurdlers in the country. He later completed his collegiate track career at Texas Tech during the 2024-25 season as a graduate student. Along the way, he earned NCAA All-American recognition and became known as one of the fastest hurdle specialists in New Jersey history. Rhea’s South Jersey roots make him a rare representative of the Shore region on the series. While New Jersey has produced several contestants in previous seasons, few have come from Cape May County or surrounding coastal communities. Season 8 of Love Island USA premieres Tuesday, June 2, with Ariana Madix returning as host and Iain Stirling serving as narrator. Episodes will stream regularly throughout the summer on Peacock.
