Cape May’s Historic Charm, Iconic Lighthouse, and Coastal Cuisine Make It a Summer Favorite

Skincare built by longevity scientists — not marketers

Most skincare addresses what happens after your skin ages: the appearance of wrinkles, loss of visible firmness, and dullness. But four PhD longevity scientists asked a different question: what if you could target the cellular process that causes visible aging in the first place?

Their answer is OS-01, the first peptide scientifically proven to address senescent cells — the damaged "zombie cells" that accumulate with age and accelerate visible skin decline. The result: the first topical clinically validated to address visible skin aging at the source. In a double-blind 12-week clinical study of OS-01 FACE:

  • 100% of users showed improved overall appearance

  • 96% improved visible firmness

  • 87% showed improvement in the appearance of wrinkles

  • Barrier strength improved 15%

This isn't skincare with better marketing. It's skincare with better science. And real results.

Cape May’s Historic Charm, Iconic Lighthouse, and Coastal Cuisine Make It a Summer Favorite

Cape May is once again earning recognition beyond New Jersey, this time from the travel and lifestyle website Secret NYC, which recently highlighted the seaside community as a destination that "has it all."  Just a few hours from New York City, Cape May, New Jersey, offers a seaside experience that feels worlds away from urban life. Situated at the southern tip of the state, the town combines broad sandy beaches with colorful Victorian architecture, historic attractions, and a laid-back atmosphere that has made it one of the East Coast’s most beloved destinations. The site agreed that our town is recognized as one of America’s most picturesque beach towns, Cape May has earned a reputation as a place where visitors can slow down and enjoy classic summer traditions. As the nation’s oldest seaside resort, it continues to preserve much of the charm that first attracted vacationers’ generations ago. Unlike many of the more bustling shore communities, Cape May is known for its quiet elegance. Horse-drawn carriages roll through streets lined with ornate Victorian homes, while ocean breezes and historic architecture create an atmosphere reminiscent of another era. The town’s distinctive appearance and relaxed pace have helped make it one of the most unique destinations on the Jersey Shore. Cape May boasts nearly 600 preserved Victorian buildings within its 380-acre Historic District, giving it the largest concentration of Victorian homes in the United States. Streets such as Jackson, Perry, Hughes, and Columbia are especially known for their beautifully maintained properties. Among the highlights is the Emlen Physick Estate, an 18-room mansion dating back to 1879. The Cape May Lighthouse remains one of the area’s most recognizable landmarks. Cape May’s appeal extends beyond its beaches and architecture. The town has developed a vibrant culinary scene centered around fresh seafood, waterfront restaurants, and charming cafés housed inside historic buildings. Nearby vineyards add another dimension to the experience, offering wine tastings amid peaceful farmland just a short drive from the shoreline. Visitors can spend the day sampling local wines before returning to town for farm-to-table cuisine, creative cocktails, and traditional Jersey Shore favorites. We already knew Cape May was something special, but it's always nice when others recognize it too. Secret NYC's latest feature is another reminder that our little town continues to earn praise for all the reasons locals have appreciated for years.

Cape May Renews Southern Mansion Liquor License After Compliance Review

The Cape May City Council has approved the annual renewal of the Southern Mansion's liquor license after a municipal code enforcement review found the historic bed-and-breakfast to be largely in compliance with the conditions governing its operations. The renewal comes despite continued concerns from neighboring residents, who urged the council to deny the license over ongoing issues including noise, light pollution, and other impacts on the surrounding neighborhood. Following concerns, the city conducted a code enforcement review after the council postponed action on the license at its June 1 meeting. The investigation concluded that the property was operating largely within its permitted boundaries, paving the way for the council to approve the renewal on June 16. The license remains subject to significant restrictions. It does not allow the Southern Mansion to operate a public bar. Instead, alcohol service is limited to overnight bed-and-breakfast guests, private weddings, and other scheduled private events. City officials indicated the one-year renewal will allow the property's operations to be reviewed again next year, while both neighbors and ownership expressed a willingness to improve communication and address remaining concerns. The Southern Mansion is owned by Barbara Bray Wilde, who also owns Willow Creek Winery in West Cape May and founded the New Jersey Farmers Cooperative, an organization focused on preserving local farmland.

Authorities Charge Two Following Early-Morning North Wildwood Assault
