Lower Township will mark Independence Day with its annual Fourth of July Festival and fireworks celebration on Friday, July 3, 2026, offering an evening of family entertainment along the North Cape May bayfront. Always a great event, the celebration begins at 5:00 p.m. along Beach Drive between Lincoln Boulevard and Emerson Avenue. This year's event also serves as part of the nation's 250th Anniversary commemoration, featuring a variety of activities for residents and visitors. Festivalgoers can enjoy food vendors, carnival rides, family-friendly attractions, and live music performed at multiple locations along Beach Drive throughout the evening. The highlight of the celebration will be the fireworks display, scheduled to begin shortly after 9:00 p.m. The show will be launched from a barge on the Delaware Bay near Emerson Avenue, providing a scenic backdrop for spectators gathered along the waterfront. Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets for viewing. In the event of unfavorable weather, the celebration has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Sea Isle City Event Pushes Kelce-Led Autism Fundraising Past $3.69 Million

Jason and Kylie Kelce helped raise a record-breaking $1.26 million during the sixth annual Team 62 "Shore Birds" fundraiser at the Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, benefiting the Eagles Autism Foundation. The day featured a variety of community events, beginning with Kylie's annual morning workout at Excursion Park. Local social media personality Katie Begley, known as Popstar Katie, led participants through the outdoor fitness session. The fundraiser also included celebrity bartending appearances from current and former Philadelphia Eagles players, as well as special guests. United States women's rugby standout Ilona Maher joined the festivities by serving drinks alongside Donna Kelce and later participated in a spirited flip cup competition with Jason and Kylie Kelce and former Eagles defensive lineman Beau Allen. One of the event's most talked-about moments came when Jason Kelce was handed a prosthetic leg, used it to drink a beer, and then signed it. Kylie Kelce also added her signature before the item became another memorable highlight of the fundraiser. The latest event brings Team 62's fundraising total to more than $3.69 million since 2021. The proceeds support innovative autism research and care programs through the Eagles Autism Foundation.
