Country Superstar Tim McGraw Joins Massive 2027 Wildwood Beach Festival

Country music superstar Tim McGraw is heading back to the Jersey Shore, and this time he's bringing decades of chart-topping hits to one of the biggest beach parties of the summer. McGraw has officially been announced as the fourth headliner for the 2027 Barefoot Country Music Fest, taking place June 17–20 on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. He joins an already impressive headlining lineup featuring Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, and Riley Green.

The four-day festival will feature more than 40 artists performing across five stages, with additional performers expected to be announced in the coming months.

For longtime country music fans in South Jersey, McGraw's upcoming appearance will bring back memories of another unforgettable night on Wildwood Beach. The country superstar last performed there on July 4, 2016, during the Celebrate America festival.

Despite heavy rain, thousands of fans gathered on the sand to watch McGraw perform. The concert also featured Hunter Hayes, Maggie Rose, Shot of Southern, and The Devin Riley Band. That performance came four years after Kenny Chesney helped establish Wildwood Beach as a major concert destination with his 2012 appearance. Now, 11 years later, McGraw is preparing to return to the same stretch of shoreline for his first appearance at Barefoot Country Music Fest.

McGraw has been one of country music's most recognizable stars since launching his recording career in the early 1990s. With three Grammy Awards, 49 No. 1 singles, and more than 106 million records sold, he has built a catalog that spans generations of country music fans.

His biggest hits include Live Like You Were Dying, Don't Take the Girl, I Like It, I Love It, Something Like That, Just to See You Smile, and Humble and Kind.

McGraw also has a special connection to the Philadelphia area. His father, Tug McGraw, was a Major League Baseball pitcher who helped the Philadelphia Phillies win their first World Series championship in 1980.

The festival is scheduled for June 17–20, 2027, on Wildwood Beach between Morey's Piers. Tickets are currently being advertised with payment plans starting at $19 down, subject to festival terms. Fans can explore ticket packages and additional information through the official festival website.

With four major headliners already announced and dozens of additional performers on the way, the 2027 festival is shaping up to be another major summer event at the Jersey Shore.

And for fans who remember McGraw's rain-soaked Wildwood performance in 2016, his return is a chance to experience the country music legend on the beach all over again.

Two Shows, Two Legends: Judy & Liza Tribute Coming to Somers Point October 24

Get ready for an afternoon or evening of unforgettable music, Broadway glamour, and Hollywood nostalgia as two legendary entertainers are celebrated in a special tribute show coming to Somers Point.

Judy & Liza: A Fabulous Tribute Show will take the stage at the Gateway Playhouse on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with two performances scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The production stars talented vocalist Emily Viancourt, who will bring the music and personalities of Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli to life alongside acclaimed pianist Linda Gentille and the Jersey Shore Pops orchestra.

Few mother-and-daughter duos have left a greater mark on American entertainment than Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli. Garland became one of Hollywood's most beloved performers through her unforgettable portrayal of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, along with a remarkable career in film, television, and live entertainment. Her daughter, Liza Minnelli, went on to establish her own legendary career, captivating audiences with her powerful voice, theatrical performances, and starring role in the movie Cabaret.

The upcoming Somers Point tribute will celebrate their extraordinary musical legacies through memorable songs, orchestral arrangements, and performances inspired by their distinctive styles.

Audiences can look forward to music associated with both stars, including Broadway favorites and classics from the Great American Songbook. Songs such as Over the Rainbow, The Man That Got Away, Cabaret, and New York, New York are among the timeless selections associated with these entertainment icons, although a final setlist has not been confirmed.

At the center of the production is Emily Viancourt, a versatile performer known for her vocal talent and theatrical experience. A graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Viancourt has appeared in numerous stage productions, including Sweet Charity, Strictly Ballroom, and The Nutcracker.

Her performance experience also extends beyond traditional theater. She stars in Ebony & Ivory, a musical production presented aboard cruise ships around the world.

For Judy & Liza, Viancourt will draw on her musical and theatrical background to capture the spirit of both performers while bringing her own interpretation to their celebrated songs. Joining Viancourt will be Linda Gentille and the Jersey Shore Pops, bringing the richness of live orchestral music to the production.

Gentille has become a familiar name to Jersey Shore concertgoers through her performances and work with the orchestra.

The intimate atmosphere of the Gateway Playhouse provides a fitting setting for a tribute honoring two stars whose careers spanned generations.

Whether you're a lifelong Judy Garland fan, love Liza Minnelli's Broadway classics, or simply enjoy live music, this tribute offers a chance to experience the songs of two entertainment legends.
